   NORA – Professional Organizer

To start off, I’d like to introduce myself to give you an idea of who I am and were I’m coming from.

I have a degree in systems analysis and have worked on developing systems and providing support for a long time. I love technology and the good things you can get done by using it.

Over the past several years I have become focused on using technology as a means to helping people to achieve certain goals.

The coaching training I went through was fantastic and changed me forever!  I have now started using my newly acquired tools and understandings in my everyday life.

As part of this new path I received a “Trained Professional Organizer” certificate from the POC (Professional Organizers in Canada) and I’m strongly committed to developing and growing my own practice as a Professional Organizer.

A Professional Organizer is a person that will work with a client in any area that the individual needs help with. By leveraging styles and systems that work for the client first, trying to better understand the way the client works; and identifying what does not work and needs to be reviewed.

Nobody will have a better approach to your comfort than you do, but as a professional organizer, I can help you make it clear and change things in your system to improve them according to your own needs.

I believe that organizing is my real passion; why else would I spend a winter Sunday afternoon organizing my closets with a smile in my face?

Or happily wake up early on a weekend morning to go on a project to re-arrange the pantry?

I also believe that I can inspire this feeling in others as I have witnessed the transformation from concern to relief and sense of joy that being organized has brought to the people I have worked with.

For some time I was trying to come up with a name for my business. I talked to friends and family members until it finally hit me: “Feel organized”.

That’s exactly the feeling I want my clients to achieve when completing an organizing job.

As part of this new path I’m writing this blog to share some of the things that I do to help me stay organized in my everyday life. By doing this I’m also challenging myself because writing is not my strength at all! I’m actually receiving some help (and support!) from friends and family in my endeavor. Thanks to all!

My goal for this blog is to help you feel organized, one step at a time.
